'Nature's Lacework' (2024 - )

Merri-bek Council - Michelle Guglielmo Park, 260 Sydney Rd Brunswick

Commissioned as part of the re-development of 260 Sydney Road site, this artwork design features local botanicals growing across/re-claiming architectural elements. The negative space in the design was scaled with consideration given to the quality of the shadows it would cast, and the structural weight of the canopy.
This project involved working directly with Merri-bek Council, landscape architects GLAS Landscape Architects, and fabricators Rock Martin (who supported the technical requirements for the design).
